Lucia & Nicole Officially Selected for Newport Beach Film Festival

We’re thrilled to share that Lucia & Nicole has been officially selected for the Newport Beach Film Festival 2025, one of Southern California’s largest showcases of international cinema.

Newport Beach has long been a hub for world-class storytelling, bringing together filmmakers and audiences in celebration of diverse voices and perspectives. Screening here is an exciting opportunity to share Lucia & Nicole with new audiences right in our own backyard.

This selection also marks an important milestone in the film’s festival journey, joining recent screenings at Reeling: The Chicago LGBTQ+ International Film Festival and NewFilmmakers Los Angeles. Each step forward expands the conversation we hoped to spark: about chosen family, acceptance, and the quiet power of being embraced rather than turned away.
